VITAL STATISTICS

The Stark County Health Department has birth and death records dating from 1908 to the present year, for persons who were born or died at home (outside the city limits of Alliance, Canton, or Massillon) or at Doctor's Hospital. A request for a birth or death certificate may be made by e-mailing vitals@starkhealth.org. Click HERE for a list of fees. Credit cards may be used by clicking HERE

Birth or death records prior to 1908 may be obtained at the Stark County District Library at 715 Market Avenue N., Canton, Ohio 44702, or at the Ohio Department of Health, Bureau of Vital Statistics, PO Box 15098, Columbus, Ohio 43215-0098.

For birth or deaths which occurred inside the city limits of Alliance, Canton, or Massillon, records can be obtained at each respective city health department.
